I Have No Money

I got the “I have no money” excuse today. In fact, every so often I get the motivated lead or prospect that’s ready to get started in network and Internet marketing… BUT at the same time I get the ol’ excuse ‘I don’t have any money’.

…So, they either don’t get started or just quit shortly after they do. OR – better yet – they hop around from this opportunity to that opportunity, searching for the Holy Grail… the ‘financially free in 90 days’ opportunity that never comes.

When people tell me that not having money is the reason they can’t do network marketing, my first thought is ‘you REALLY don’t want to do this’. Because the reality is, if you REALLY wanted to do network marketing, you’d find a way.

Imagine this. Say my network marketing opportunity has a $500 startup cost and you “don’t have any money”. Well, what if I said that if you come up with the $500 bucks, I would give you $5000 in return. Do you think you could come up with $500 bucks then?

It’s not about having the money or not. It’s about having the motivation and desire to TAKE ACTION in order to improve your quality of life. It’s also about having a big enough reason WHY.

For instance, I live in Florida. Say I wake up on a lovely Sunday morning before the sun comes up and I want to go to the beach and see the sunrise. But I’m tired, the beach is 30 minutes away and I really don’t want to put gas in my car just yet… I mean, just to go see the sunrise?

Well, if I really don’t want to go through all of the effort to get to the beach and see the sunrise, I’ll just be staying in bed and going back to sleep! I didn’t really want to go see the sunrise. I was just wishing to see the sunrise.

There’s a difference there – between WANT and WISH.

The vast majority of people are just WISHING for the better quality of life, the wealth, the sense of freedom that comes with owning your own business. Yet, they don’t want to go through all the EFFORT. They don’t want to GET UP and put gas in their car so they can get to where they need to go! For them, successful people are just LUCKY and they will probably get lucky too, if they only pick the right numbers for the next lottery drawing. NO MONEY is just another reason why they CANT do something.

And so it becomes their approach to life. To the point where the only way things will change is when they wake up one day and say THAT’S IT. ‘Im going to see the damn sunrise!’ No matter what it takes.

If you say “I don’t have the money”, I say you don’t have the FUEL to make the trip from out of the RAT RACE and into SUCCESS…

And THAT my friend, is EXACTLY reason you should be doing network marketing. Because you NEED the money.  That’s exactly why you must find a way to set yourself free.

It may take some time to answer, but ask yourself… WHAT do I want out of life? Find that WHY, that big enough reason for doing any home based business. When you do find it you will become an unstoppable, driven individual with NO obstacle big enough to stop you.

You see, success is NOT about having the money. It’s about finding that reason WHY, having the DESIRE, and then TAKING ACTION. It’s about getting rid of the EXCUSES that are holding you back… excuses like “I don’t have any money”.
